The Church of God (Cleveland, Tn) is a very interesting group of people. They are a Pentecostal movement that came around the same time as the Azusa Street Revival but they were not part of that outpouring. They had their own movement going on and later received greatly from what became known as the “Azusa of the East Coast” [...]
I have some serious reservations about a pastor in Fiji that is named Suliasi Kurulo. I have made this clear over the years. The idolatry of leaders, the brokeness of families and poverty of people that attend all led to call it what I believe it to be: a cult.
I have been contending for revival since I was born again on July 15, 1996 on the floor of the Brownsville Revival. It was not just something I thought was cool but I actually believe that what was happening at Brownsville should be normal at every church, Pentecostal or not.
There is a reason that I support Bill Johnson and his ministry. It is not because I think that Bethel Church is beyond correctness. I have voiced my own concerns over how the school is run and some of the eschatology that is trumped from Redding.
Brian McLaren is an interesting guy and while he is not Pentecostal, a lot of people in our movement do listen to him. I do not understand but that does not change the fact.
I was on Youtube like everyone else and saw a clip by Tommy Bates, pastor of Community Family Church in Independence, Kentucky. You might have also seen him on television with Rod Parsley.
I was reading an article about how Pentecostal churches, the fastest growing part of Church should value sacramental worship. To be honest, I really am not much into this type of stuff. I am more interested in the cutting edge worship that brings divine healing and deliverance to the nation.
The Apostolic is a hot topic in alot of churches what is it and what are the marks of the Apostle? The truth is I am not even sure if anyone knows anymore. The whole concept of apostolic ministry has become so over used that that anything and everything is considered to be part of it. It is much like how we have cheapened revival down.
I am concerned. I am very concerned actually. Far too many people in ministry think the great commission is church planting. It is not.
As a 18 year old, I joined this new thing called the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. It was a few dozen people and our leader, Mike Bickle. We started with all day sets of intercession and within a few months, we are going around the clock praying for revival.
